Starting From Scratch

Welcome to my new website! Given recent life events, I felt it was a perfect time to rebuild my personal website and turn it into a blog!

I’ll be honest, I’m not that great at front-end development. That’s not saying I don’t have experience in that area, I’m actually quite proficient in React and Angular. It’s just that I’ve never been good at styling!

That being said, what you’re looking at right now isn’t React or Angular. I’ve chosen Astro for its performance, SEO, and content collection API’s! I’ve also chosen Tailwind over CSS as it provides pre-built utility classes, making it easier for me to create the styles I want.

As of right now, I’ve been leaning into a more minimal design, focused more on the content than looking flashy. I’m looking forward to see how this evolves over time!
